What was Prince's best band? The LOVESEXY band of 87/88 is my favorite because they could play and adapt 2 any of his styles. the NPG of 94 to95 was really good. The revoultion was good but a cold sounding band,

1988 - Prince, Sheila E., Cat, Levi Seacer Jr, Miko Weaver, Dr. Fink, Eric Leeds, Atlanta Bliss and Bonnie Boyer (R.I.P) I got more hits than Madonna's got kids!

I like The band he had with Fink, Lisa, Bobby, Dez, and Mark. The Pre-Revolution band...or Pre-Wendy, I guess. You can go back a little farther and swap Mark for Andre, either one is fine.

I like the Revolution and the LoveSexy band the most of all of Prince's bands. His band from the recent 21 Nights/Earth Tour at the O2 were also a brilliant band. BenS71

What do u mean "Pre-Wendy"? The Revolution wouldn't be the Revolution without her.. ..In her chills, I'll force a burst..Erotic thrills, so good, it hurts..My motions 2 her velvet, she'll strike it as love..Rain from her pelvis..ended with doves..

What do u mean "Pre-Wendy"? The Revolution wouldn't be the Revolution without her.. 1999 says "& The Revolution" on the album cover, some people class it as the first Revolution album, so you could say this band is the pre-Wendy Revolution. Edit: How many times can you say 'Revolution in one sentence! [Edited 7/6/08 13:43pm]

It says "Revolution" in the football shaped image and it is written backwards. WB must have overlooked that fact as they were use to Prince being a one man band. SOTT/Lovesexy is by far lightyears the best band! __________________________________________________

. [Edited 7/6/08 13:29pm] I can see myself 98 years old and chatting on the org with cane and walker in hand plus going to tribute concerts cause that guy name Prince will be long gone and will have to sit next to the speakers just to hear the dam music because my hearing aid died

Man, that's tough. If we're talking straight-up talent wise; I'd have to say either SOTT/Lovesexy or NPG 94/95.
