Heywood Nelson his brother? O.K., so I'm on this other music board and someone said that Heywood Nelson (the dude that played Dwayne in "What's Happening") is Prince's brother. I know he wouldn't be biological, but he's not related otherwise, is he? I've never heard that. . .

I think someone confused him with Prince's real brother Duane!!! Of course Heywood's character on What's Happening was named Dwyane Nelson. So I see how someone could mix the two up!!! JERKIN' EVERYTHING IN SIGHT!!!!! |

The only person that is "famous" that I know Prince is related to is Eddie Griffin. They are D I S T A N T cousins. I have heard Eddie say this several times on television interviews. He said he didn't know he was related until his mother went to a family reunion and met Prince's mother. Eddie's mom introduced Eddie to Mattie (Prince's mom).
