THE CRYSTAL BALL 3CD SET

i feel prince should have had all my dreams and evry other unreleased songs that the fans really wanted. the original version of sexual suicide blows away the album version. i think it could've been an awesome album. the original crucial with that horn solo i would've rather had. oh well! sad

Agreed - but I think it was held back for inclusion on the mysterious Roadhouse Garden project...maybe one day it will be set free

There's another version of Sexual Suicide? I love that song.

Prince stands for Penises Rise In Naughty Creamy Explosions, therefore confirming Prince's satanic homosexual tendencies once and for all. -NouveauDance

My Favorite Prince album.

1. Crystal Ball
2. SOTT
3. Emancipation (Only because there is a mass of material. It's about 50/50)
4. Purple Rain
5. New Power Soul (yeah I know 99% disagree- so what. My list)
7. Parade
8. Graffiti Bridge
9. Dirty Mind
10.Prince (sorry P, I know and understand how you feel about this one but . . )

Meanwhile, civic knowledge is enhanced by discussing public affairs, taking part in civic activities and reading about current events and history, the group said.

Which is why we have P & R!

Y'know what's funny? When folks say, "Prince should release everything." And then, when he does a sizable vault dump, they say wanna nitpick the tracks and say, "Well, we didn't mean that." lol

the only cd's 2 be on his best 5 of all time won't change!!
1)PURPLE RAIN-when doves cry, the beautiful ones , computer blue....enough said
2)SIGN O' THE TIMES-prince's most electic work ever
3)!999- where the minneapolos sound starts and stops with. amazing arrangements and drum machine beats, the sound effects were amazing on this.
4)DIRTY MIND-PRINCE finally came in2 his own. i don't give a fuck attitude on this one. PRINCE's when u were mine is a 4ever classic song
5)PARADE-PRINCE claims that he rushed this one. looking back on it there are so many interesting tracks on it. it's the kind of album to blast on a summers day. i just wish all my drams, there's others here with us and old friends4 sale were on it though sad

Fuck yeah! woot!

I'd like to hear a lot more stuff from the Dirty Mind and Controversy eras, there really isn't too much circulating.

I was flipping through The Vault the other day and read something I hadn't seen before about, I think it was, 'Hard To Get' from the Rebels sessions, and how it was remade in the Dirty Mind timeframe, would love to hear that.

Really? Huh. I haven't seen a re-made Hard to Get.

how ironic that ur top 5 includes the time period u constantly say on every thread 1982-1987 gee isn't that funny?

I'm on the phone with Clarence Willliams III 2 bitch slap Prince again. Then I'm going 2 tie Prince up and let Apples have her revenge and bitchslap him again!

It's very different to the 'rock' Rebels version. It's a more minimal electronic
rendition, sounding closer to 'Something In The Water (Does Not Compute)'
or 'Annie Christian'.

Sorry, no. I really considered it though. 1999 is still behind 3121 and Musicology.

Yeah, that sounds very interesting! In my opinion, his rock songs are underrated, so I'd love to hear what he does with 'Hard to Get'
