The sulty funk pumping outdoors at 77 couldn’t have been more fitting for this steaming Saturday Summer night.

The DJ spun sexy ballads and grooves that so perfectly paved the way for a set by Frank McComb & band. Fender Rhodes and great vocals…who could ask for more? And then, Prince & the band hit it, performing a bunch of sexy slow jams (and a few fast ones) to the appreciative poolside crowd.

Hot Summer Nights don’t get much better than this!

I'm sure everyone had a fun evening...It was stormy here...so I went to sleep, listening to the music of the rain...I would rather have been at the party.

Being in LA, so close yet so far..
kinda wish he'd throw us a party too.. can I say a couple of hit'n run gigs for the fam?

The party was kewl until some dude took a major dump and clogged the toilet and this other dude couldn't stop bumping the DJ's equipment. Then the cops came and busted P for his weedoponic garden. It was okay though, it was all one big misunderstanding and I went down to the station like an hour later and scooped him. Me and P dropped off these girls, he slobbed one of them all sloppy n hard n whUt not, it was really gross. Then I dropped him off and his pops beat his ass for staying out late after he got suspended for fighting.

I wasn't invited, again!

This is why I wish that I was in LA right now. I would love to just once be at one of these events that Prince throws but alas I am in Ohio working hoping to get overtime just to make ends meet. What a charmed life!!!!

Maybe we should just all show up at Paisley Park with our own DJ and demand they let us into the sound stage to dance! Probably not too much going on in there at the moment anyway!

Fine idea Simm....but this has been done before. Maybe if he had a party, $7/or whatever one might like to contribute to get in, and the proceeds would go to a charity. We could dance til dawn!

He could stay in LA if he likes (not that we would like ), and at least we could dance the night away.
