i got so much music its all over the place i need to organize It's on New Power Soul. It's one of the few songs on NPS that I dig. It's beautiful and sad all at once. A lot of people look at this song as a song about lost love but in my honest opinion, I've always thought this song was about Prince talking about his baby. I always got that vibe that he was singing it to his baby that he lost, especially considering when this song/album came out, 1998. I could be wrong but it makes sense to me. But wasn't that him singing the song? yes but that's him also on Gold nigga during black mf's in the house and johnny and that's definitley him on exodus yet both of these albums r credited 2 the new power generation not prince, not ,

Regardless though 4 this album he's very much a part of the New Power Generation, isn't he listed as part of the band in the liner notes and not featuring or special guest, plus we all know it's credited 2 the NPG in case it flopped commercially as he was experimenting with different distributing ideas at the time.
