As I said before, Prince follows his own path. His destination is what he calls 'the truth'.Actually, we don't really know what kind of truth is that and what it's all about. But the fact remains. All over the past decades, he used 2 change his looks most frequently and his sexiness conformed itself 2 his new situation: dirty (Dirty mind), hot and prophetical (1999), itchy and broken inside (Purple rain), ironic (Parade), intellectual (Sign O' the times), heveanly religious (Lovesexy) and so on. All that leads 2 where he is now. It was simply inevitable. Sometimes I do miss the way he used 2 be, but nostalgia is a state of mind. I'm not a fan of jw either but Prince is a grown ass man. He does what he wants and you should know that by now for as long as you've been a fan. We, me included, need to stop blaming JW for everything. Yes it seems to be a motivating factor for what compels Prince to do what he does in a lot of ways but like I said, he makes his own choices. You either work with it and stay or you don't and leave. It's that simple. Prince.org is a cemetery where folks mourn Prince instead of celebrate him and his music. Last time I checked, Prince isn't dead yet.

If the suggestive lyrics that he once used don't fit what he believes in now, he certainly has the right to change his own lyrics.Those are his lyrics after all. He would be a hypocrite if he would still use lyrics that go against what he currently believes.People have the right to change and better themselves.
