Yesterday I had tried to find the day of "Lovesexy's release." Is it the 9th of May specifically?

What a coincedence. I just ordered it yesterday...should be here within the week. I never wanted it because with Prince you never know what you're gonna get really, but I saw the video of I Wish You Heaven and I was like, "maybe this is worth checking out..."

EDIT: I also got the Sign o' the Times DVD, ATWIAD, and a book about his songwriting and shit but I forget what it's called. My debit card had a Prince day

Lovesexy was the beginning for me....

I was subscribed to "Britannia Music Club" (original BRIT AWARD sponsors and organiser)...they send you out a CD every month unless you tell them not to.

One month a bump on the doormat...looked, then a sigh, and a thought of why have they sent me a cancelled CD that I never ordered!! Anyway the CD was Lovesexy and had this odd looking naked bloke on the front!


Played it anyway...from the first track I was hooked...a real life changing moment. A very fresh deep sounding CD.
Even more bizarre was the one single track only on the CD...Originally I thought it was a manufacturing fault.

Ohhhh...By the way...did you know...The ORIGINAL 1 track CDs ARE are fully tracked through an "index system" built in to that 1 track on the CD.

They could be forwarded like any other on the old Marantz CD50 player which had the "Index Forward" Button on the remote control...Yep I owned one at the time!! also...the first CD by Enigma: MCMXC A.D. was exactly the same...I just wish i still had the CD Player...sold it to a friend...has he still got it i begin to wonder.

The LCD of the front of the CD50 lit up "Tr 1 Index 1" or "Tr 1 Index 2" depending on the track that was playing.
