The end of Temptation deals with this very controversy...God saying, that Man has to want sex for the right reasons....And God says, You don't now die. cool

God swears on the Holy Bible. Huh?

If Larry is the blame for Princes change, then I guess I am too. I have been praying for his life to be more Christ like since 198? something. It is a natural progression. Everyone should have seen it coming since he had been looking for the truth. The more you seek God, the more He reveals Himself to you. If you are seeking Him for His purpose in your life....guess what, your life will reflect that. I say, BRAVO PRINCE! Keep searching and it will all be straightened out. God is positive and that is what Prince's music has become, more worthy of the God he is serving. Those spiritually aware, you think about it, would you be positively nasty if you were aware that God and His angels were standing not near by but RIGHT next to you in your face while you disrespect yourself and Him with vulgarity? (OR have I said tooooo much)
Selah!!!

I love your post and agree with you 100%.However, when I listened to his very recent 'turn me loose' performance I was shocked to say the least. The lyrics sounded more like the old nasty Prince. That song sends a very conflicting message and has absolutely nothing to do with spiritual awareness or having respect for himself or God. It was completely inappropriate for a man his age and caliber. I wonder what made him regress like that.
Some people might say that it's just a song, but Prince should be aware of the power that lies in the words of this song .

Yes I felt the same way when I heard the lyrics of "Turn me loose" but you know what, we tend to slip from time to time. This is a walk and every now and then we trip and fall, or stumble a little. Maybe this is is state of being right now. I still think it may be a temorary one though.

So 50 year old dudes don't like to have sex, and if they do, it's an afront to God? Did you forget God created sex, and no one would be on this planet without it.

Sex is a beautiful thing, not something that should be taboo or something to be viewed as nasty. Don't you think there's a reason God made it feel so good?

Before we get too deep into this thing when the bottom line is that ppl grow and mature.....yes God created sex but he had boundaries in which it was to be shared and so.....before you want to slam that last sentence, just because ppl do what they want does not mean they are doing what God agreed to or guidelines of what he created EVERYTHING for.

He's almost 50 big deal, my point was ppl grow and mature and that it does not make him less PRINCE. We focus on him but this is his journey that he is sharing with us. What about your journey.....that is what is really important.
