Prince and George Michael? Just a thought.. Well, for the first time in about 8 months I've been listening to something other than Prince! Wake up children, dance the dance electric, there isn't much time... Who screamed? Was it you?

I respectfully say, HELL NAWWWWW. What got me listening to GM was Prince's version of 'I can't make you love me', I'm not really impressed on first listen, so I thought I'd check out GM's version, then I was going on to Bonnie Raitt. But, I got listening to George and thought, yeah he's done some really good stuff! Maybe it would be interesting.... Wake up children, dance the dance electric, there isn't much time... Who screamed? I still say George Michael's first solo album was an attempt at making a Prince album, and not a bad job at that. But no, I'm not itching for them to work together. Even if the collaboration would actually see the light of day--which it wouldn't--there are so many others I'd rather see him work with before GM.

Hmmm... was just thinking of a guest appearance really, where they would sing a couple of numbers together, might be fun. I can't really see Prince working in the studio with him or anything. Probably wouldn't like all that Wake up children, dance the dance electric, there isn't much time... Who screamed? Was it you?

I was listening to George Michael....and remembered how much I liked him, I was thinking that of our generation maybe he's the next best singer/songwriter? Then my imagination started running riot - I was thinking of a Prince aftershow / intimate gig in London with GM as a guest artist! Can you imagine that?!! George could sing some of his best ballads, Prince could harmonise and play some wicked guitar.... wouldn't that be the ULTIMATE I agree, I think GM is the best vocalist of our generation. They should do some gospel songs.

I remember the Prince interview with Q and Prince mentioned George Michaels dispute with Sony. The interviewer told him he should contact GM and lend him his support to which Prince replied "Oh! we talk".
Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

Prince and Andrew Ridgeley would be better. Except Ridge would have to be careful so as not to outshine P. too much.

Not long after this George Michael did an interview in the Big Issue where he joked about not accepting Prince's calls.

What I know of George Michael's music...I really like...I am sure if the two of them worked together...A great song would come from it. To the generous mind the heaviest debt is that of gratitude, when it is not in our power to repay it.~Franklin

Does Prince communicate with you, telepathically? If so, what does he tell you? What bath & bodyworks items to use? What to eat/drink? Do you hear subliminal messages in any of his songs?
