Hook ups because of Prince????

Hook ups (not break ups) because of Prince????

I always wondered what it would be like to be with someone who was into Prince like I am…. I was with one girl who liked him but wasn’t down with the NPG like I was…. My girl now doesn’t like him at all and I have to drag to a concert…. Would it be too crazy????


Has there been any hook ups because of the .org or met at a Prince concert? Are you with a Prince fam now?

I met a guy through queuing for tickets in 1987, and we used to listen to SOTT live bootlegs, analyse lyrics and "have a good time"...It was fun, we were teenagers fooling around. But he was a bit nuts so it didn't last, hehehe. Subsequent drivers have been a bit intimidated by this particular jockey that was there before they were, given our huge common appreciation for the Purple Master

No But, I had a short-lived boyfriend once who was really into Prince (a musician, hence the short-lived bit!), and he told me I dressed like him not sure if that's good or bad

Yeah, I've always had girls/women who got into me intially because they were P fans and for some reason or another, I reminded them of P. Me being a musician only made matters worse.

Quite a few have met here on the org and just recently we've had 2 weddings

Uh....well understand, unfaithfulness and flirting are entirely two different things. I know cats who are also musicians, I've known them for years. And their faithful to their wives. Major difference with me is that I'm single and will die single. But I've always been faithful to serious girlfriends that I've had. But I try not to let it get TOO serious anymore cuz....

I grew up in the Detroit area and was fifteen when Erotic City hit. My friend and I used to go to a teen club called Nitro's and alot of the Prince wannabe's would hang out there. While we were dancing to Erotic City, a Jesse Johnson look-a-like tapped me on the shoulder...and the rest was history. He was a bass player and we followed those guys everywhere! Detroit was hot back then with Mojo on the air, and it was just the time of our lives. We had alot of "fun"because of Prince.

met one of my best friends through prince.org in 1999, and we are still friends to this day. i also had a few dates, and a boyfriend. and later ended up meeting my husband through knowing my friend. prince fans are usually great people!

really nobody I know that are my age and in my group of friends like Prince (or Maceo, Mavis, Morris (what's with the M's)) that much/at all.

Same taste in music is a big plus
