When did you 1st notice that Prince went horn-crazy? For me:
Questions for the cult-ish prince-o-phants...
Does Prince communicate with you, telepathically? If so, what does he tell you? What bath & bodyworks items to use? What to eat/drink? Do you hear subliminal messages in any of his songs?

Prince & The Revolution Live 1985 Not as many as there was on the Parade tour. I can see myself 98 years old and chatting on the org with cane and walker in hand plus going to tribute concerts cause that guy name Prince will be long gone and will have to sit next to the speakers just to hear the dam music because my hearing aid died

probably when He was a baby, and He got his first cold. When you're heart has been through every angle, and down every weary road,

That doesn't count as a real album... That is just a horn show. Questions for the cult-ish prince-o-phants...

I loved those. The horn break in the Anotherloverholenyohead video is my favorite part of the video. To me, it got really bad during the Hit n Run tour when Prince let Kenny G.-wannnabe Najee put audiences to sleep with his interminable solos. Those were just awful.

Whenever he started using the HornHeadz. They were the tightest horn section Prince has ever had. They may not be best-suited for what he's doing now, but back during TGE, Sacrifice of Victor, etc., they were arguably the best part of the band. __________________________________________________

It all started with SOTT, and I haven't regretted a minute of it since. The horns are amazing and add a lot to a track. The horn section of Billy Jack Bitch is off the hook.

when he realised the connotation of the word horn and realised not only was it a good term for instruments but he could use the paraphrase so 'blow it' to death,
you can be what ever you want to be

![]() DMSR on the 1999 album... I say that because when I heard that I was in High School and didn't care for Prince but LOVED this song. The Keys are simply his desire to arrange some hornz on it. We used it in Jazz Band and did well for a High School at the New Orleans Jazz Festival in Spring 1983. After that I never heard it with Hornz until 2000 or so. He simply did the reverse of what was happening at the time. Ojays, Earthwindfire, MJ's seawind hornz on Off the wall all using hornz. he didnt.... then when everyone was using synths... he started the hornz.. of course its also economic too i wanted so bad to see a double concert of Bryan Setzer doing 50's covers and Prince doing James Brown Style covers. Call it Prince and Bryan... under the covers... no wait... that won't work. I may have the jelly 4 ur peanut butta but u got 31 hours and 21 minutes left.

Prince always like horns, but never really incorporated them into his music until 1985. With eric Leeds on the scene and Sheila introducing P to eddie M, I think the first real horn track was "temptation".

Well, I wouldn't go as far to say they were the best part of the band, but they were certainly the most most underated. I loved the Hornheadz! Come visit some time: http://www.myspace.com/pimplerumskin

the horns def add luxury & always a big affair. shortly after being on stage at coachella he demanded the horns - they transformed the moment to big drama. such a classy touch

Prince always was a horny kind of guy. "I guess Soul Psychodelicide means death of the soul from psychodelic drug use" - mimiviz
I am my own unique individual, and not a stereotype. You betta recognize!!!! I'd rather be unattached and happy, then to be stuck with an idiot and miserable.
