Idea for Prince video..

Got this fun idea for a Prince video tonight on the way home from work...

At night, a boy in a house in an impoverished area looks out his bedroom window. The walls of his room are adorned w/ Prince posters, Prince memorabia. He looks out the window, onto his lawn. He is sad, alone.

Suddenly a man emerges from the shadows into the light cast by a neighborhood street lamp, carrying a drum set. He plunks it down on the lawn, and starts playing. We hear music. A man emerges and accompanies on a guitar. A crew comes out and sets up a makeshift stage and dancers (the Twinz?), come out and get into position. The boy can’t believe his eyes!

Suddenly Prince appears and starts performing, he is singing a song to the boy. The boy watches, spellbound---unable to do more than watch in amazement.

Neighbors hear the noise outside and start looking out their windows. They realize what is going on and come out, tapping their feet, dancing. More neighbors come out to see what is going on, and join in. It turns into a street party. Traffic in the area comes to a standstill as people flock to the scene. No one can believe this performance in the yard! The boy watches from his window, dancing and singing along. Suddenly, he is the happiest boy on the planet.

Film crews arrive, the evening news… the party has gotten too big, all hell is breaking loos. When the song is over, Prince and the band magically disappear.

The boy’s joyous commotion awakens his parents and they come running. But it is too late. Prince and the band are gone. The parents look out and see all the people left who are still in the yard, partying it up. They look to the boy for an explanation.

The boy looks into the camera, smiling...

I like that too...but maybe all of the people could be gone...The parents close the door...tell the boy to go to bed, but he still hangs his head out of the window, and then it starts raining purple guitar picks from the sky...

That's a pretty hot idea! I like it alot.

Im sorry altho ur cute - it sounds like a re-hash of 'fame' or a bad michael jackson video. what was the rat one? too pukey for words.

altho i give you this it does sound very 80s, its just that its more 'feed the world' than 'head'!

i try not to watch vidos anymore, i prefer to listen to the sounds and judge upon that if i like it. too much crap is sold cos of a good video with poor lyrics and poor music.

i dont think Prince should really bother with music videos anymore, i think theyve had their day.
