i used 2 think he was singing trampoline.. Hun, I've been listenig to this track for over 20 years and I still think that it is definitly open to debate that Prince says trampoline once or twice through that song!!! I love Dance On, and it is from my favourite era of Prince's history - but there is something about Tambourine that is just that little bit more off the wall and creative! Tambourine for me. Good choice of tracks to vs against! Life's a Parade! LoveLife, LoveSexy!

Good choice of tracks to vs against! Hello you! Both great tracks but like you, I'm gonna go with Tambourine. It was a song my dance teacher used to play a lot, and that was even before I knew who Prince was. When I bought ATWIAD a couple of years later, I was over the moon to realise that song was on it! It's such a funky track.

Like I said, a couple of them are well suspect and when you actually sing along and say Tambourine - you actually sound like you're singing the wrong lyric yourself!!!!! Hey JazzMeUp, how are you? Are you going to the Dawns parties or to Dublin? Would be great to see you again. Also love your picture in your profile. I another thread I did say Prince's new album should be called Fluffy white clouds, Ha,ha! He needs to re-invent his cloud suit too as that is my favourite outfit of his!!!! xx Life's a Parade! LoveLife, LoveSexy!

Both songs are clever because they show Prince's sense of humor...It takes a lot of talent to write a song that is both entertaining, and funny. When you're heart has been through every angle, and down every weary road,
And a miracle is you're only option, Believe.~T

That's a good little bit of Prince, trivia, huh? And, yeah, it kills Dance On. Tamborine is sexy as hell, whereas Dance On is just damn funky.

Yes, English dictionary. Yet Mr Nelson is American. So a different kind of English. Color=US, colour=UK. Prince's song is called Tamborine. Your turn! ...can't stop what's coming // can't stop what's on its way...

What the fuck does that mean though? my interpretation: I don't care for 1 night stands (as it states, I don't really care for these 1 night stands) with Trolley cars (tramps, coming and going) that juggle 17 (juggling all these women) I just want to settle down (instead I prefer to settle down with one) and play around my baby's tamborine (and just play/make love with her).
