to think the only video collection available is the one released at the time of the Hits/B-sides with only a few videos on it.....

I would rather he release them on dvd or on his own youtube type site that dodgy bootlegs taped off mtv or something....

Let's be honest most of would pay, it would be no different in principle to the NPGMC.

i'd buy a DVD collection. i don't know that i'd spend money on video files, especially if it had that licence nonsense like the NPGMC purchases that i can't play anymore. of course, if he tried to pawn off some live footage i'd never seen before, my fammy ass would be whipping out the credit card like everyone else, so who am i kidding?

I still don't understand why...Movie theatres don't keep concerts running live satellite shows for everybody...I'd rather go to a theatre and pay twenty bucks to see a live concert, than stay at home.

the only way i'd pay him is if he would release some product
for me to actually own.

like a dvd or a cd. not something on a dodgy website that he

is if he puts up stuff in DRM free, 320kbps or flac format.

but better yet, sell actual cd's. for every physical cd he
sells he can give you an immediate download link to mp3s of
the music you can play until your disc arrives.

i don't understand why everything always has to be so damn
hard with him. it seems like he wants to release sonds and
videos and yet he doesn't want to let go. everything has to
be restricted by some warped, unrealistic vision that he is
the controler of the universe.

if he sets up shop again online he should seriously look at
what other people are doing and how they set things up.

but i guess that will never happen since there are always
those who defend prince's every move and start shouting we
should thank prince for every crumb from his table and we
should never question his actions. lol.

but yeah, to answer your question, something like princetube
would be right up his street. charge people an admission fee
of 20 dollars or let them pay per video they watch. but they
can't download it, they can only watch it on this site. and
the videos will all be copies from tapes the people sent in
for his "ways of the pharaoh" project.

and fams will still be shouting "prince is so sexy in the
dolphin video. i can still see the mtv logo, half blurred
up in the corner and there's a lot of static coming thru,
but at least we get to see the video and prince only charged
us 2 dollars every time we watch it. prince = jesus. but

Its like that with music with...I'll buy cd's, but Itunes? Hell no. I just get it for free.
