ditto, its a discovery song, i was on it when it dropped and your right people did not know then. i rediscover it every 2 years. now it's on my ipod and it still gets lost LOL, but when i hear it i think this shit is hot. had it come as a purple rain B side with synths instead of horns it would have been judged as a classic.

my favorite part is the last line, when Madonna sounds pissed off as she sings..
"I just woke up from a fuzzy dream....you never would believe the things that I have seen".

Don't try to tell me what your enemies taught you I'm gone! But I just want you to know... Me too! I also like the bit that sounds like "don't fu@k my mind!" when the lyric is actually "don't fog my mind!" Life's a Parade! LoveLife, LoveSexy!

Immense track. Apparently neither of them were in the studio together to record this. They just sent tapes back and forth between Paisley and wherever Madonna was...

since it's pure prince. it is pure prince indeed but kinda bland and it lacks a really memorable melody or chorus, imo.

Love it!!! I like when Madonna says something in a different language and Prince says "What?" LOL. I listen to it a lot!! Making love and music are the only things worth fighting for.

they are both credited as songwriters on it....and some was used in 'hung up', unaccredited to P

maybe Madonna wrote the lyrics and Prince wrote the music? "I just woke up from a fuzzy dream....you never would believe the things that I have seen".

I don't like this song, and never have. "I guess Soul Psychodelicide means death of the soul from psychodelic drug use" - mimiviz
I am my own unique individual, and not a stereotype. You betta recognize!!!! I'd rather be unattached and happy, then to be stuck with an idiot and miserable.

Why would Madonna credit Prince with something she wrote? (she writes most of her own lyrics, and usually co-writes the music)

I love this song too. the part you mention: "embrasse moi. what? pour la derniere fois." means, kiss me. (what?) for the last time

since it's pure prince. it is pure prince indeed but kinda bland and it lacks a really memorable melody or chorus, imo. That's exactly how I'd describe it. And unfortunately it's the weakest song on an otherwise perfect album!
