Prince nod in Spider-Man comic! I just cracked open this week's Marvel comic "Amazing Spider-Man #555, in which Spidey and Wolverine team-up when a sudden blizzard hits NYC. Guess what it's titled?

That reminds me, several years ago, the artist on Deadpool (Georges Jeanty) would put a lot of Prince references in that book.

Georges is actually one of my best friends and I've known him for years...We actually first met at a wrecka stowe because of our common interest in Prince.

Anyway, he's a damn fine artist and he's always snuck a few Prince references into his books that he's working on. His latest gig that he's been on for some time now is the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series....Check them out.... My b/f reads 'Buffy'! Thanks for the heads up, Imma check it out... I've seen a Prince nod in Kevin J Taylor books. Do you remember Tamar's show at Mansion nightclub in Miami, Prince? I re-live it every night, day and waking second. Somewhere here I am on Earth.  | |

I tried to get some dirt on the re-alignment of the X-titles that was coming up at the time, back in 2001, I think. It was right before Morrison took over, and all that stuff. He didn't really have many details to share, being off on a satellite title. He was cool to talk to, though. I wonder if our very own Mr. Medina had anything to do with that. He has drawn Spiderman and Spawn comics, as far as I know.
