Chaka Khan and Tony Maiden (guitarist and Rufus feat. CK bandmember) wrote "Sweet Thing.''

Are you joking ? Of course he wrote that songs. When you were mine is on his "Dirty Mind" album, and HCUDCMA was the b-side of the "1999" single. You can also find it on "The Hits & B-sides" compilation.

I'm not familiar with him, but I was listening to XM Kids Radio (with my kids, of course) and this song came on.. They were surpised when I knew all the words.

It wasnt a bad version.
