do ur kids like Prince because they hear u playing his music all the time? My daughter says shes 'starting to quite like his songs,but he's ugly' !!!(she's 8) but my son who's 4 really likes him,he immediatley knows if its a Prince song I'm listenin to just by hearing the first few lines and his favourite song is 'Hot Thing',u should see him dance to it! Soooo sweet,I think we have a new Prince fam in the making

My kids don't know Prince yet.

My daughter loves Prince and yeah I think its because shes heard so much of it all of her life! I took her 2 the O2 so that she could see him live and I now think I'v created a monster!!
The best thing is I can play my music as loud as I like and I dont get any complaints

Yes, my little boy is 4 nearly 5. He ADORES Prince, he has a purple accoustic guitar and MAKES me put on the Rave dvd all the time - so annoying He knows a lot of the words to his songs, and copies his dance moves, P would be proud of him

We were watching Dancing on Ice a couple of weeks ago, and when the first couple of notes of Diamonds & Pearls came on, my little one said "That's Prince music". That's my boy!!

We took my daughter to see Prince last year twice. She's seventeen now (smuggled her into the aftershow!). She likes Prince but favours his hits and the slightly rockier stuff, however nothing comes between her and the Foo Fighters and Paramore.

my two kids (4&3) like his music. they were fascinated because they think that he is a 'real royal Prince'. they listen intently whenever he is on because of that.

My children know nothing of early Prince because I chose not to expose them to the lyrics he was singing then. But a couple of the "cleaner" songs they hear from time to time and they get more of a kick out of seeing me go crazy when he is on, tv/radio that I don't know exactly how they feel about his music. lol
He has started to grow on my sister,now 18, via my influence

she's facinated by the visual.

she comments tht he's very girly, & then adds 'bless him' as if he needs blessing... i tell her, u don't need 2 bless him cuz he's not gonna die!

she'd been watching a reality skating show & just like jeff's boy, she couldn't wait 2 tell me they'd skated 2 diamonds & rubies

she has numerous friends round. usually it's when i drive them home & they're subjected 2 parade, i'll get told from the friend in the back 'my mum likes prince'....

the funniest thing is our next door neighbour Ed has been learnig guitar (4 2 many years)
usually at bedtime he decides 2 play & sometimes will bash out a prince tune.

we hurt ourselves laffing tht he's pretending 2 b prince (in front of a big mirror)
& we have a guessing game about what prince outfit he's chosen 4 the occasion.

is it the rave spandex, or purple rain regalia? is it septimo show get up or lording it in lovesexy?

My little brother who is 12 loves "Guitar". He jams to that.

Both of my daughters, 13 and 3 love Prince music.

I'd have to say, as much as they are exposed to his and related artists music, they really still just sort of think of it as "Dad's music" which is fine by me.

my daughter who is nearly 8 likes him. She calls him "Purple Mister". She loves guitar and was dying for me to take her to london this year but she would have had a hard time with the travel etc.

I have two girls one of 14 and one of 12. The 12 year old was not to bothered until she went to the O2 and now she loves some stuff but the 14 year old is just mad about Prince. She has her own set of CDS pictures on her bedroom wall and knows all the songs. Even some of her mates have started getting into Prince becouse she never shuts up about him.

I never did play much Prince music around my daughter when she was little so she really didn't know too much about him. When she was around 17 or 18 I started playing more of it...let me just say that some of my CD's disappeared! She has since moved on to university and is almost 20 years old....those CD's are still missing!

He gets it! That's why the ladies love him...

I have 6 most of which are grown my boys of which I have 4. The baby boy 17 is into chris brown so no calls him gay. the 20 year old is into rap so no. the two older boys 25 and 28 are closet fans because they claim they dont like him but when they come over to my house and Prince is playing they know most of the lyrics to the older and some of the newer songs too. my girls I'm not sure about.
