If A Girl Answers Don't Hang Up ?uestion

Hey Everyone,
Really Quick question. Is that Prince or Morris day playing the girlfriend on that song. I know the time played on the album. I always assumed it was Prince but the more I listen the more it sounds like Morris day. I know there (spoken) voices can be similar at times.

I believe it's Prince. If u listen to this song along with Tricky and Grace, you can really tell it's Prince.

Tricky was credited to The Time, but it was Prince doing the song.

Grace was a continuation of 777-9311. It's mostly Morris doing an interview with a television reporter (which I'm not sure if its Vanity or Susan or someone else) with the guys laughing in the background (P included).

Nope. It's Prince.

I think your confusion comes from the track being listed as a collaboration with Terry (it was his bass line IIRC).

I wonder y he released Cloreen Backon Skin? I always wondered that. I bet no one knew that he even recorded that jam b4 Crystal ball came out

not that I see anything wrong with it either
for the same reason, Joni called him a hybrid songwriter
he just needs not give others a hard time for doing the same with his sound
