Does anyone else love 'I'M YOURS'?

This track rocks. The production is excellent, the bass, the guitar and great drumming.

I wish he did more tracks with drumming like this.

I love it. It's an odd addition considering the rest of the album's sounds, but a good look into what's to come.

Now when I listen to it I love how fragile his vocals seemed on the track. I knew the first time I listened to it though that he was going to be something special.I thought this track was a great introduction to the baddest one man band in music.

I remember playing this @ my restaurant job and people was asking me who was rockin that guitar! They told me to play it back too

I first heard "I'm Yours" in 1979...I loved it then, and it still growz on me through the years. It is one of my Prince favorites.

I remember they used to play the opening riff at basketball matches to rev the crowd up. I bet 99% of the people never knew it was Prince .

My only problem with this track are his vocals - I can never understand what he's saying. But yeah, the music rock, even if it does get a little repetitive towards the end.

Same here But still; it's one of my favorites

Gotta love that track (esp. with So Blue before it, that's my fav. track on For You). But it makes you wonder how come I'm Yours didn't make put him into orbit post haste. It's loud, it's powerful, it's raccous, and it shows his virtuosity excellently.

The name of this thread should've been...

I am totally kidding. I'm an old fan too, got 'on the boat' when I heard LRC/Delirious and haven't jumped off yet. OWAHH!
