Goodbye Prince.

I’m concerned that lately I’ve been feeling as if Prince has been saying goodbye.

The jam’s of the week have been quite spiritual and basically telling us that he loves us, and then no more 3121.com.

The only way he is going to win with regards to Prince Fans United (without compromise) is to disappear.

Prince don’t do compromise does he?

I hope I’m wrong and 3121 springs back to life with something amazing and some good news about fan sites!!

No more Prince. Some will be happy, and I’m sure some will be sad.

Maybe some are right in saying he is washed up and running out of ideas, I find that hard to accept, but. Prince may even feel this way.

If this is the case, is there anything we can say or do to make him change his mind?

I say this in relation to a line from PE where he say’s

So many mistakes I’ve made with the words before….. Trying to find the energy to take U there.

Or something like that!

I think 3121 is down because something big, possible CR related, is going to happen after the new year. Did he say something like that?

maybe all of this is an effort by prince to erase his presence from the internet so he can recapture the energy and control over his image he had pre-internet. i dunno. maybe this IS his way of backing off from the life of a public figure. or maybe he's just taking a break and cleansing his palette before his next phase. i suspect he won't be going dark for very long, he never has. how many times has he "retired" so far?

Well I hope he does not disappear from the public eye for to long. I'll be heartbroken.

RIP...though I find it really unfair not informing people about a potential site close....

I can't imagine who would be happy if Prince disappeared

I don't believe for a moment that he's washed up or has run out of ideas. I really wish some of you had seen him in the summer, I didn't get that impression at all, quite the opposite. "This is the summer that changed everything" Well, who knows? But it's not my feeling at all. P loves music too much not to carry on making it and he also loves performing.... in fact it's his LIFE. I think he'll be like the Queen - and never retire. In 2004 he said he feels he's only just beginning his career, and feels about 20.

Lets see..... patience, patience - Prince is unpredictable that's for sure, and that's why we love him

Normally I stay fairly positive but this just dosen't feel right.

As I just said in another post (there are too many threads about this), it's probably nothing at all. The /main.html gives a 404 error, so my guess is simply that they're switching up the website to .php or something, which can be pretty time consuming. Probably switching servers too.

Sometimes, I have thought, and for seconds only, that I would put Prince on the back burner of my heart, but I just can't do it....I stay close, for support, yet keep an emotional distance.
Prince is probably resting, and rejuvenating.
