Freind In Prince Video

My freind was in a prince video. I can`t remember what it was called. he was the drummer in my band for a while.

It was a live video of an aftershow filmed in london, camden possibly. It came out around the same time as the undertaker. It had `jailhouse rock` and `get your house in order` on it.

He met prince a couple of times and said he was very nice.

My freind appears at the start of that video. He left my band, but the band played on.

My cousin was one of the extras in the Partyman video. He was able to keep the mask but alas when I asked him for it.... "lost".

I know he got talking to Prince although I don’t think he got too jam. He lived with a bass player, they both being called Mark. Very funny men. Mark the bassist banned Mark the drummer from playing Prince records at home during certain hours because the guy would play the records non-stop. He had some kind of a Prince curfew going down.

They were the rhythm section in my band for a while and then they split when they got offered a gig in a big hotel in Delhi India. They got £10 000 each for six months + airfare and lodgings.

They both came from Newcastle which is the city in Northern England where Sting is from. Mark the drummer hated Sting because apparently Sting was having an affair with his drum teacher’s wife which sent Mark’s drum teacher into a deep depression during which he would teach drums any more, hence upsetting Mark the drummer.

All of my celebrity stories are lame and inconsequential but true non- the less. I had a girlfriend once who worked in Island records in London. She got me some free tickets to see Prince and some of his guitar picks which have `Love God` inscribed on them. I don’t exactly understand why the connection with Island. Some of the Guitar techs or soundboard techs at Island were connected to his shows in some regard.

It was cool holding auditions. The Bassist from Mother Earth turned up he was digging on a track called `People Say` that’s not presented on this site but is a bit like the funk of `Black Gold` which is the first song on the main page. http://cybernought.com/

After Mother Earth split (who had a hit with Dear Jesse) the guitar player went on to play with Oasis and Paul Weller. I can’t remember his name.

Last year I was asked to write material for an album due for release on EMI by a singer called `Aaron Soul` who grew up singing with Craig David. This has gone into litigation because his brother got kind of aggressive with me in the studio. It’s a bitch because I was very pleased with the work that I did for him. Two songs I wrote for him are on Myspace `Population Explosion` and `What in the World` which they never recorded.

And a song called `Brainchild` which they recorded and wanted to kill me over because they got all excited and wanted to keep the money, hence pushing me out of the loop.

I am in a Prince video in 2019, and I hit my head on the doorframe of a worm hole and I am having trouble explaining to thoxe in 2009 that I am from the future.

I've seen myself in a couple of live bootleg videos. That's always cool plus I've got pics of me on stage with Prince and there was 6 or 7 pics of me on the NPG website
