to me, it doesn't matter. his best guitar solo in any genre is the one from "Just My Imagination" on Small Club.

i still continue to be so blown away by that that i can't even wrap my head around any other solo unless it's playing in my ears at that particular moment.

this one got me thinking, so I listened to Soft n Wet, and ... there was only a keyboard solo, so i listened to Another Lonely Christmas, and I wouldn't say it was the best, but there's some funky guitar coming up at the end of the song there
