He lost this fan after 26 great years...

Not that it's going to matter to him or anyone else, but I am finally finished with Prince. I'll keep all my old stuff, but only because it brings out great memories from my childhood. As for newer official and/or unofficial material I've decided to mail all of it back to Paisley Park just like he wanted us to a few years back.

It strikes such a chord in me that he would want this community of fans on the .org to silence ourselves, when all we're doing 99.9% of the time is adoring him and his music - well not anymore, for me at least.

Whether this site of Fams or Housequake get removed or not, the damage has been done with me. I've always known to be self absorbed and arrogant, but as long as he didn't punish his fans with his shortcomings it was alright with me. Well, he's finally done it. Does anyone else feel like I do?

There's just too much good music and musicians out there for me to waste anymore years on this one.

I can understand where you're coming from.
Just with any relationship, mine has been periods of not wanting to deal with Prince and his antics to being back into him again cause after all, I simply love his music.

I've seen him enough to get the full experience.
The Vegas thing was the beginning of the end for me though.
7/7/07 was a great experience and if he does more of that I'll be there, but Vegas was a little dull for me.

To sum it up, I have a back and forth thing going.
Will I ever keep going forth and be done, that's the question.

i agree there's plenty of really good music out there, but let's face it, prince has added bonus of being incredibly HOT!

You know there has been times when I've given Prince a b slap. I've ranted to friends how the lil m'f can go to hell in a gasoline soaked wicker basket. But never have I lost my mind enough to throw away well over a thousand dollars worth of cd's and promotional items.

Be angry, that's cool, but don't you dare throw your money away.

I love Prince. Sorry, just had to say that. Sick of the negativity bringing everyone down. If everyone is sick of him then just stop being a fan. Simple as that, but moan after moan. When was Prince not controversial and a control freak, I mean just watch purple rain. This is no different. And I will finish as I started. I love Prince.

Prince is protecting himself for the Right Reasons. Alot of negative thinkers out there are blowing it out of proportion. i'll always support Prince

I'm not sure if I will drop him completely because I DO love his music. I just wish there was some chance at communication between him and his fans, but I know that's an impossibility.


P. S. As far as my husband is concerned, nobody, but nobody mess with Stevie.. even Prince.
I just think it's a little overkill to take action against fansite when there are far many more threats out there..
