My Symbol Necklace.....

At one of the 02 shows I bought one of the symbol necklaces. I know, i know, it's not exactly prime stuff, but I wanted a souvenier of "that" summer. What has made me laugh is the reaction I've had from people when I'm wearing it, At the docs this week she asked me as I was leaving "is your necklace a religious symbol, what religion is it?" (bless), and my dentist yesterday said "I like your necklace, but what does it mean"? Finally, a little girlie (about 16) on the supermarket checkout tonight said "your necklace is cool, it's one of those man/woman things isn't it"?.

I have to smile, I did put them all right, but I didn't have several hours to tell them all what it's REALLY about..... I love my necklace.

Awwe...cute post...I wear mine once in awhile...It's an older symbol, I love it too, I wore it to the beach a few times, and hidden, to a Peter Frampton concert.

I have the gold symbol earrings and wear one as a necklace and the other as a belly ring!!

I've got the symbol tatooed on my arm and get asked those questions all the time, I usually just tell them if you don't know, I can't tell you.

I get the question if it's some kind of feminist symbol.

I'm surprised at how no one so far has known what kind of symbol it is. I thought everyone would be familiar with it by now.

haha when i wear mine to school theyre like whats that?
i turn it over and show them the prince 2007 thing and they're like ohhhh and dont bother asking more because i BABBLE on and on and on when it comes to Prince
