Ultimate

Sorry if this has been discussed before but... if you own the Hits + B-Sides is it worth getting Ultimate? The extended versions of Kiss and Pop Life sound exciting - but is it a major rip-off?

If you want the extended versions sure it is worth it.

Well it certainly is not anything exciting, I felt like I could have saved my money.

It's worth it if only for the fact that all the tunes were "remastered". The remastering didn't change the mix, but it did clean it up nicely. There have been times when I have been listening to it thinking "I don't remember that part sounding quite like that", then I remember "Oh yeah, REMASTERED!" I think it was well done, and the extended mixes are worth having.

Hits/b-Sides is better, but disc 2 of Ultimate is pretty cool. Its remastered. But unless you can find a used copy cheap, Id pass.

I would get it, if its on sale or just buy the extended versions on ITUNES. Little Red Corvette sounds great.

Yeah, I'd get it. I've got all the extended versions on vinyl but still got the CD. If you don't already have them, why wouldn't you get them?
