Prince and Amy Winehouse

Prince played his last (of many) London show’s on Friday night and he brought along a very special guest for his post-concert gig (that’s how he rolls) at the O2 Arena’s Indigo venue.

Amy Winehouse opened the aftershow with Love is A Losing Game while Prince played guitar.

His Purple Majesty told the crowd to look after Wino as “you’ve got something special.


God I wish I had seen that!!!! Arrrgh!!!

Some of you forget the facts and get caught up in all the tabloid bullshit.

The facts are that Amy Winehouse is tremendously talented, and what's more she always comes across as a really nice, if fragile, girl. Yeah, she has her demons, but so do most of us..

Miguel, it was WONDERFUL!! love

The curtains were still drawn when the band started, so it started off sounding like part of the soundcheck, almost. Then this rich, luxurious groove kept building and building, with these weird little keyboard motifs... it was beautiful. Then the curtains open and Amy Winehouse appears. Incredible moment. At the end of the song, Prince gave her a hug, walked off and put his shades on, saying he was starting to get tears in his eyes. Awwwww. giggle Very, very moving and the most amazing music.... cloud9

Truly was the most incredible beginning to a magical evening. I actually thought Amy looked great too - and was moved by the incredible audience reaction.

Thought it was really gracious of Prince to share his stage with someone on the final night cool

I mean her drug habits are well documented, but how is she a "one-trick pony"?

She's young, immensely talented and has released 2 stellar albums to date which if you compare the 2, have completely different sounds.

Man I probably would've passed out seeing them 2 together on stage. I just know it had to be amazing beyond belief to see that. Congrats to all who saw that show. I wish I could've been there. mad I hope that Amy can pull herself together cause she relly is talented.
