That was great, but there's no need to compare Prince to anybody else. It will never happen. I do think Prince cares about his fans, he's trying to set limitation for how much of himelf he wants to make available to the public, I can understand that.tho I don't like it. | |

yeah. I'm pretty sick of hearing all this talk about Prince "not caring" about his "fans"... I'm sure he's very grateful to us for where we've gotten him over the years (well, u guys, I've done very little in my short time under him). And he does put out music for us as well as himself. Of course, here I am, being his little cheerleader again, thinking he can do no wrong. So u can ignore me if I want, but this is how I roll.   The instant I heard Gold’s first note, it became Prince’s mark on my soul: a tattoo I wear with pride.

It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

it was probably a mistake on prince's part to open paisley park and let his fans get so physically close to him...

He does care about his fans very much...what do you expect him to do? He's not the type to wear his heart on his sleeve and it's not as if there are only five fans in total! He shows his love through his music! There are plenty of his songs that make me feel loved and cared for.. He gets it! That's why the ladies love him...  | |

Just because Prince isn't standing around on corners singing in his dirty jeans for anybody that'll stop and listen does not mean he doesn't love his fans, anybody that's ever been to a Prince concert knows that's not true! | |

The concerts where he states "so many hits so little time" then doesn't sing them? The concerts where he teases fans with fan favourites then doesn't sing them but sings some obscure album track from a recent album no one likes all that much. We must bring salvation back... | |

Funny but EVERY REPLY thus far (except lovebird) has missed my point totally. I guess it was kinda misleading. My point isn't that Bruce is playing with a street performer for free (even if Prince would never lower himself to that degree).

Wot true fan just wants 2 hear the commercial hits ?  I for one luv 2 hear his more ubscure music that we luv him for. Then when he sings them 4 us the commercial safe prince fans moan  Raging i missed him doing Whole Lotta Love from the 02 a few nites ago.
