Has Prince come out and said what is in "the vault"??? We all speculate whats in there...and how we wish he would release some stuff from it...but has Prince ever mentioned what exactly is in there??? | |

As far as I am aware, he has only spoken in general terms: for example, that he has hundreds or thousands of songs recorded but unreleased, Most reports emanate from other sources. During the first Celebration in 2000, visitors were advised that Prince did not only store recordings at Paisley Park but elsewhere too. Levi Seacer described in interview how Prince had once provided him with a list of songs previously recorded, and Levi had picked some (going by their title) to work on further with Prince - Prince requesting that the relevant tapes be brought up from the Paisley Vault for them to play around with. Prince has released songs from the vault , there may even be 1 or 2 on Planet Earth. I don't understand why people worry about this! | |

On MTV in 1999 he said that the vault has: The really erotic Prince, amazing jazz, revolution work ... I can't remember the rest but "The really erotic Prince and amazing jazz" was mentioned. I remember Kurt say "REALLY" after Prince said "really eroctic." Kurt loader asked about recordings with Miles Davis and Prince just "whistled." Kurt also asked about Roadhouse garden and Prince said he was working on pervious recordings but it is on the back burner for now.

What do we have to do, to get at least that part of the vault released? I would vote, sign a petition, change my religion, do community service, join the salvation army, purify myself in the waters of Lake Minnetonka, beg and plead.  Whatever it takes, sign me up !
