Too many too choose from. I'm soo rubbish when it comes to choosing a single favourite of anything to do with Prince, but I think I'm gonna have to go with the Gatefold Vinyl version of Parade!

I've never listed this as one of my faves, but I must admit that it's always conjured up a distinct image of "hope for the future" in my mind. Think about it... In the distant future - will our great (great great etc...) grandchildren still have the means, or even the desire, to sit around and be absolutely enthralled by music? Prince says they will. I'm with him. My personal favorites? ---> 
This one's always been at the top of my list. It just plain grabs me every time! 
Setting aside that I'm hopelessly obsessed with "black" (or rather the lack of color in general), I thought it was very cool that when WB finally released this they kept it simple as opposed to going with the Beatles rip-off approach like Metalica did. Although it seems (based on images I've seen) that that was the original intention. I wonder if the Metallica album had anything to do with the change? 
I just love the art work on this one. And I love the way the picture of Prince on the spine wraps around to both the front and the back giving it all a bit of continuity. Great thread! "You've got a million dollar smile, but you can't buy time...
