Superbowl Halftime Show Grabs Emmy Nods Prince's magical rain-soaked performance at the Superbowl was just nominated for 2 Primetime Emmy Awards, according to emmys.tv, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences website. The halftime show was nominated for Outstanding Special Class Program and Outstanding Technical Direction, Camerawork, Video for a Miniseries, Movie or Special. Although Prince himself was not nominated, these nominations are a reminder of a spectacular show and a tip of the hat to the work that camera crews did in treacherous conditions. Prince is so willing 2 do the work, that all his accomplishments and blessings are coming in from all directions. All the crew members, staff, photographers, fans; etc that made the Superbowl halftime the best in its history is just another great moment in Prince History. Oh how I just wish that tha fuse hadn't blown at the end of Purple Rain. THe guitar was too quiet and too much Synth for some technical reason. Still a killer show I listen to at least once a week. | |

.. he started performing as church was letting out and my friend called to let me know he was coming on... i drove home sooooo fast! and it ended before i got there. Well, i have seen several times on the net though, and i LOVED IT!!!
