Prince symbol font for PDF

[Do no ask where can I get no no no! snip - luv4u] I have 'The Artist Symbols' font, but that seems to have the permissions denied for embedding (anyone know how to contact its creator?). Anyone got an alternative font with the Prince symbol which isn't restricted from PDF embedding? There must be one out there.

Thanks in advance for any help.

It's copywrited and it's illegal to obtain this without permission. You risk getting sued.

Look under section 3. for contact information http://prince.org/msg/7/145050

Really? So if I want to write about Prince during the period when he changed his name to a symbol, I can't actually use his name to describe him? Newspapers who want to write about that period of his life need to ask his permission in advance? Are you sure?

In any case, thanks for explaining the rules of the forum which I'll respect.

Why not try using a Font Creator program to copy and paste the glyphs you need to a new font set?

It's easy with this program: http://www.high-logic.com...eator.html

You get a 15 day free trial which is more than enough time,

Just open a new blank font set and the installed font you wish to copy from. You just click once on an individual glyph; CTRL and C to copy; click on a blank character within your new font set and press CTRL and V to paste. It really is that simple.

I'm just assuming that the new font set will allow you to embed your characters into a PDF file - but it's worth a try.
