I believe most was shot in Minneapolis. Not sure if Paisley Park was built yet.
Some stuff was shot overseas(sorry so vague), which I think was the orignal plan but the audio was not up to par. France, or the UK? Can't rememeber. Somebody around here will know for sure.  Fantasy is reality in the world today. But I'll keep hangin in there, that is the only way. | |

[Edited 7/13/07 20:28pm] This is from Wikipedia: The film was originally intended to consist of live material filmed in the Ahoy' in Rotterdam, The Netherlands on June 26, 27 and 28 and in the Sportpaleis in Antwerp, Belgium on June 29. However, the footage from these concerts was deemed unsatisfactory: one of the reasons for this was that the film was grainy and unusable. Secondly, some of the sound had been recorded on different channels and was virtually inaudible. Consequently, the live performance was reshot at Prince's Paisley Park Studios (where the between-song segues were also filmed). According to saxophonist Eric Leeds, around 80% of the final film was drawn from the Paisley Park reshoot. | |

It was originally shot at the Ahoy Stadium Rotterdam Holland. But Prince (aka: control freak) lip synced and reshot footage at Paisley Park. | |

Yea, Sometimes they photos of the Rotterdam arena and audience, make you think it was all shot there. Thats cool because all flows smoothly, thought all of it was done right there in Rotterdam! |
