yeah, but i thought it meant it was part of a princey-planned 24 hour event, with macys and other "surprises" in MPLS and online, etc., happening that day. but i also assumed there'd be some kind of live earth tie-in as well.  | |

they'll probably just do a satellite feed into the live broadcast just like they did back with LIVE AID when they showed his pre-taped "4 the tears in your eyes". Since the networks are covering it, they'll probably cut away to a Prince performance for a song or two at the minnie venue. Since the whole Planet Earth concert is going to be jumping around all day with networks airing different parts of every show. a-ha "foot of the mountain TOUR 2009" a-ha "Ending on a High Note Final TOUR 2010" going everywhere! | |

i'm guessing if prince is going to do a "surprise" telecast performance for live earth, it's gonna be something special. even if they're just showing him do the let's go crazy medley, it'll be exciting for me to know it's being simulcast to where my ma will get to watch for a while from home at the same time!  | |
