Places Prince has never perform Just curious, what cities, states, or countries has Prince never did a concert at??? I live in Hawaii and it took forever for Prince to do a concert here. | |

Time is just a number when it comes to love and all that. He just didn't perform one date in Hawaii. His first Hawaiian Island gigs were in February 1996 after he got married to then-wife Mayte, then returned in February 1997 for a so-called "anniversary" gig (I was there). Then there were the three dates in Honolulu and Maui in December 2003. Back on topic --- another place Prince has not played is Budapest, Hungary. If he ever plays there, I am so there (just like Anx). Also I would love to see Prince perform in Russia and in South Africa. | |

He should try some wicked place to perform. Sure, Slane castle works as a really nice backdrop for a concert, but what about Angkor Wat? Or like Anx said, Iceland, that would make a sweet concert. It might even serve as inspiration, new experiences, new people. On the other hand, Prince is basically urban, he wants to have complete control, so indoor suits him better. I really think it would be a good challenge for him, leave the safety behind and fight to win over the crowds. Katie Melua now has a dvd out 'concert below the sea' in which she performs on the floor of the North Sea (303 meters below the surface). Sure it's a gimmick, but damnit, he's an entertainer isn't he?
