Just now Im listening to The Wendy Williams Experience and Tana Hoy, a medium psychic says that Prince will go into seclusion to study the bible and come back to announce he will no longer perform his old music and only perform music that fits a more religious standard.....

i don't get why people think they need to take time off to study the Bible
what good does that do anyone? kinda selfish, really -- which goes against its teachings
what good is head knowledge if it ain't put to good use
the best way to study the Bible is to apply its teachings to LIFE
how u gonna apply it 2 life when u separ8 urself from it?
so many people going to church these days
but when you take a look around, ya gotta wonder
Where have all the "Christians" gone?
now we know
they off getting some head knowledge
and in the end they gonna be buried with it too
so sad

Yeah, but when he makes a religious statement during one of his shows, some fans seem to have a problem with it, I don't, but some fans do. Isn't that applying his teachings to part of his life and not exactly separating himself from it? Whether he makes remarks about his religion during his performances, at a press conference or during any conversation he is having with anyone? Just my 2 cents and some change..I think...

I think it is great. I mean I'd love to see him preform again really soon but he has been entertaining us for almost thirty years!! That is a long time..so taking some time to do what he wants and relax/travel/ enjoy his life isn't selfish..maybe he will still be writing some awesome tunes in the meantime with his new found inspirations. I think it was in the fall and rise of Prince book I can't remember who said it but someone he worked with said that his inspiration for songs was very limited because he lived in such a cocoon that branching out might be good for his work. Like they said he traveled but didn't do the type of traveling that gave someone experiences to absorb enough about life...basically saying that when he traveled he just was so preoccupied working he couldn't really pay attention to much eles.

So good for Prince he deserves a break..but you never know..maybe that itch to preform and release new material will come to him sooner than we all think. You just never know with Prince.

Oh and if Prince ever needs a study partner....

I see Prince making a new music video with another girl doing dance movements and Prince giving her evoking stares ..

we also have to remember he just got through a divorce which probably cost him a lotta dollars and there is the emotional side too. He probably needs to get paid to recoup from lord knows what he has to pay out to his ex and take the time to get over it. ofcourse i could be wrong but it's something else to throw out there.

by "let prince take a coupla years to read a damn book", the book i meant was "he's not that into you". sometimes you've got to let those self-help books sink in a little before the message hits home.
