Prince: Party at Paisley Park on VH1 I was going through the VH1 tv guides yesterday and I ran across a show called Prince: Party at Paisley Park,2002.It will air on April 15th. Has anybody seen this before? Is it good? Do U ever wonder why? | |

I once saw this on too about a month ago...when it started though it was just that Prince of Paisley Park documentary that has been on a lot recently on VH1 Classic...

So, I just programmed this on my DVR... no idea what it could be though. If it is dated 2002 (it doesn't give any info on my TV guide), then this could be from the first or second celebration. I've never heard or seen any video from actual Celebrations, so I do have my doubts. I have a feeling that it will be the "Rave" special that was for New Year's 1999. It's the only "party" from Paisley Park that I know was officially released and broadcast. Anyone else got any idea? | |

Nope, I had my DVR set to record it, It's on Thuresday the 19th at 1pm Pacific time VH1 classic still. What was cool tho, I had it set to record for today, and it was still on my DVR's to do list to record 4/19! | |

I think it is being played on the 17th. I have the ol' tivo ready to go. I assume it is something amazing like playing an hour worth of unreleased songs and giving us a website to download those great tunes for free. He may even have a lot of footage of him recording them and a lot of personal insights into how he creates the music and where around your town he hides CDs for you to collect.
