I'm wondering how many of these we can list, (inspired by 2 recent threads- "mistakes he's made, and "where does he live").

So off the top of my head...
1. He said in an 80's interview that if Mark Brown left he'd "eliminate bass" from his music.
2. He used to say he'd always live in Minnesota, but now has demolished his house.

This topic intrigues me since he's tried so hard not to talk, didn't give interviews for so long, but yet has still managed to get so many contradictions out there. I know everyone changes their mind, especially fickle Gemini's (I'm one ) but I'd bet people can come up with a lot of these.

He said "I love you, but I hate you!?

Here's another: name change was "spiritual", name change was "getting out of undesirable contracts".

All right, well, the things he's said about remaking songs, how he doesn't want people covering his songs and then he does covers, live and on albums.

Also, he doesn't want people to change his lyrics at all if they remake one of his songs, but he has changed the lyrics to many of the songs he's remade.

How's that?
