This is why yo got body guards. Yall need to get a life. When you die, the answer to the question about what you did on February 12 is this bs. Go walk the dog or something.

look, it's freezing rain going on outside. i got an overly active preschooler bouncing off my walls. if i wanna count every strand of Prince's hair today, dammit imma do that.

*mumbling* mufuggah tellin' me what life he think i need to go get. where was I? Shit, made me lose count. lessee, uh, he was down to just less than 90,000 at the Grammys. That's bad see, cuz the average head has about 100,000-150,000. That's about what he was working with when he had his Glam Slam hair right; He was around 133,000 then. Yeah so he's losing it at a pretty good rate there.

Cute lol

Personally, I've can't tell one way or the other. But I would imagine the "long flowing mane" days are over, maybe. Though they were fantastic while they lasted, I can appreaciated the short cropped look too.

From the D.C area you tell it. They only know perm and more perm in D.C.

Actually, this is hardly true. As a nappy head living in D.C., I found countless salons that specialize in natural haircare. There are literally 100's of beauty salon spots that care for natural hair. Also, wearing a natural is not as taboo as it is in the South and other areas of the country. It's not uncommon to see many black men rocking afros and locks, and certainly becoming more common to see beautiful black women--like myself--sporting the naps!

Also, do we know for sure that P relaxes? Sometimes it looks as if he actually has his hair pressed because even after it is straightened, it doesn't look completely straight, or "bone straight." I thought for a time that he has it pressed. He has extremely thick hair as well, so that makes a difference, I'm sure...

" "found countless salons that specialize in natural haircare. " That is fine if you want to have your hair locked. I don't.

Trust me when I was pregnant I just had my hair pressed and it was hard to find someone that could do a good job.

You certainly can have a relaxer for 30 years and still have healthy hair LOL IF you have a good stylist

having a really good stylist still don't compensate for the fact that you're putting harsh chemicals in your hair in order to keep it straight.

Relaxed hair being healthy is a MYTH. The only healthy hair is NATURAL hair. Putting chemicals in your hair is NOT healthy. Now, maybe your hair isn't falling out, but the cuticle IS DAMAGED every time you alter it from it's natural state. And that INCLUDES coloring. Some people's hair may recover better from the chemicals than others, but it is still damaged.

Eventually, we will see the Prince thinning, even if we can't see it now.

creamy crack lol

i gave up the relaxer back in '03...i absolutely love it, now that i don't have to worry about touch-ups and virgin growth and my hair spazzing out when it gets wet anymore.

I just realized that it was actually 2003 when I got my last relaxer. duh

4 years creamy crack free. sexy fro

I gave up the creamy crak in 1997! And I had a fantastic stylist who conditioned, clipped, and blah, blah, blah. My hair now is in the best shape ever. But I admit--I do color. But my hair reacts better to the color in it's natural state than it ever did relaxed.

Anyway--back to the topic. . .

I have woman in my family who have been getting their hair permed for 40 years.
You just have to get it done right and a lot of people don't get it down right.
They go cheap and when you go cheap you get what you pay for.
