I've seen a thousand and one threads about what people would like to see Prince sing at the superbowl next month, but I haven't exactly seen anyone ask what the P enthusiasts would like to see Prince WEAR at the show. I'm not only concerned with what he wears but how he looks. I think of the great performances of the past I've seen--Michael Jackson wore his trade-mark highwater pants and a great decorated jacket, his sister wore a cute outfit before her boobie popped out, everyone looked the way you expected them to.

I want Prince to shock everyone. I'm sure most of us are expecting him to have some sort of suit on. I don't want him to dress like he's witnessing door to door, I want him to look like the star he is.

He needs to burn any and every thread of clothing that is brown, black or beige--y'all notice he's been dressing in bland colors?

I'd love to see some color, electric blue or yellow or red, a great hair style, not that "I just got fucked in my limo" hairdo he was rocking at the Golden Globes.
We need to see some skin.
He doesn't have to wear the manties or repeat the assless pants, but at least give us more than that tuft of hair on your chest P! I want to see some abs! The hair is nice, but I want more!

1: Most (believe it or not) are there to watch the game.
2. It's seen by so many, families and all, that it probably would be too risky to "shock" people in conservative America...
3. They would lock him in or feed him to the lions before he'd manage to enter the stage, considering Janet's "mishap".

A cool suit is good enough for me (as long as it isn't beige). And after all, what's most important is not that he shocks people because of what he's wearing but because he delivers an awesome mind blowing performance .

I don't know but I'm tired of that Orange suit, and it's too cold for NOTHING!

As long as it isn't that hideous butterscotch color he had on at the Globes, all will be well.

hmm...I dunno...
considering the 2 teams going to the SB are the Chicago Bears(navy blue and orange)
and the Indianapolis Colts (Blue and white).....I'd guess that Prince is rooting for Chicago..so maybe he could wear Navy blue with that new orange cloud guitar we saw...that would look cool.
probably be a suit of some kind but...I hope it's a more tightly fitted one with perhaps a shorter jacket then that he as been sporting lately. I know he thinks he's getting old and all but...geesh...you're not that old P...you don't have to be swimmin' in your suits just yet.

I would say it depends on the music. If it's more Rock/Funk which I think it will be, then nice textures. Purple may be nice because it's his color but rich, not shiny. Possibly a deep purple suede fitted vest with unique but tiny closures. Maybe even lace up. Black pants and shoes/boots. White shirt(sheer), maybe with a bit of a train...like tails. Funky scarf (touch of Jimi) might be nice too.

Webby or Black Sweat hair...but not so neat. A bit more disheveled.

No pink and no geometric asymmetrics or bright color combinations especially if the colors are primary or close to it.

Maybe it's that some of you think Prince is so tiny that he needs to do these insane colors to stand out but even if he were 2 feet, he's still going to fill up the tele screen. That's all that counts.

If my screen is majority pink or yellow, I'll switch to B&W mode.

yeah...I don't think pink would be the ideal Superbowl outfit color choice either.

Pink was great for GMA (which has a predominantly female audience). But it would be totally wrong at an event like the Super Bowl -- unless his goal is to solidify his tutti-frutti image with the male population.
