What actually is a Lemon Crush? Is it just a term Prince coined for the Batman soundtrack song? Is it slang for something? Or is it just a cool song title? Anyone know? Thanks in advance guys.

Lemon crush is possibly a reference to the use of XTC

'Lemon' was slang for XTC around that time.

I just assumed that his love/sex partner gave him a refreshing zing, not too dissimilar to Lemon Crush.

Either that or it's from his stomping fetish?
