I totally disagree. It is fun and not cheesy like an Elton John or Celion Dion song for a kid's movie. It is refreshing to hear Prince sing in his lower voice instead of a ballad. | |

I love Prince so much and hope he wins. The song is very heart felt with a positive and uplifting meaning. Its truly a sing along song that kids love. If I had a young one he would know the words already. We would be singing this song before and after school 
When my son and girls where young I taught them all the kiddie songs. While driving in the car the radio was always off. It was a time 4 us 2 sing together so I could hear myself with kids singing this song. Total love it and it deserves THE GOLDEN GLOBE/OSCAR AWARD | |

Penguins dancing to "Song Of The Heart". One day my yet to be born grandchild\ren will see this movie. It'll be there between all my Prince CDs,  .
So what's so wrong with this sweet song winning a Golden Globe? No thing! That could mean two Oscars for Prince. They say if you win a Golden Globe the Oscar is next. Really? Well apparently kids seem to love it. My nephew Elijah drove me crazy listening to the song on the soundtrack yesterday, he wore me out.

It's strange....There was a huge boom in the ninties with original soundtracks being big sellers and having memorable songs but I don't know....Over the last few years seems like they are really struggling to find even decent original songs to put up as nominees. I can't imagine the catogery lasting very long. Keep in mind, still haven't heard the song but in general, the last few years have had shit for nominees! | |
