SOng of the HEart = NEw WB Start??

I am surprised nobody's picked up on the significance of Prince contributing a song to a Warner Bros movie.

Does it mean Warners and Prince have finally made peace?

Will we finally see Prince's true vault revealed and released?
(moonbeam levels et al!!)

Will Prince's back catalogue finally be given some decent treatment?

Anyone have any insider info?

they made peace long ago. for one: you know prince was involved in Ultimate RIGHT?

But if you're still waiting for the vault to be released...don't get your hopes up.

WB doesn't own the vault songs anyways. prince completed his contractual obligations with them, and they hold copyright for the songs published for 35 years for the songs published under the contract (from the date of publication of the particular song), so my guess would be no, dont plan on a vault release from WB, or from Prince for that matter...LOL, we all know he looks at the future of his music, and not the past.

Right! I don't mind when he does this soundtrack thing,a lot of my fav music was brought out by WB(Van Halen,early Madonna and Prince of course)
And I'm glad they are still releasing Prince Cd's and DVD's these days.

But when we look back 2 what happened between Prince and WB this really is a surprise! I guess it's just business,has nothing 2 do with personal feelings.
