Picked up the CD this morning $22.99 at Walmart...
Sound quality is good, but I dont think these songs are remastered.
But I am happy as hell to finally have some of these songs on CD.(the remixes)
Especially She's Always.. and Pop LIFE..

Hey, if you were part of the ongoing conversations with Tangerine17 way back and you like this set, may I suggest PM-ing him to say thanks for his work on it? He put a lot of work into it, and it sounded pretty frustrating that it was all delayed by so long.

Is Hot Thing the Hot Thing (Extended Remix) (8:32)
or the Hot Thing (Dub Version) (6:53)

Cos the only one I'm missing up to SOTT is the Dub Version. Well I do have it on vinal.....somewhere.

I picked up mine at The Exclusive Company (Milwaukee) for 17.99, I mainly got it for disc 2 and I'm loving it. I also got Diamonds dvd for 12.99

I have not popped mine in the CD player yet, as I am watching a DVD , but I have 2 agree...Tangerine...the pics are INCREDIBLE!! I am excited 2 have these 12" on official CD. I have the vinyl...but I really dig having them on CD...only wish it were the entire collection.

I would have wanted I Wish U Heaven extended version in it, but happy to have She's Always In My Hair extended-- my favorite B-side!!

I got it at Best Buy today for $16.99; on sale this week but I learned from the stock clerk that they only had 10 copies in each store.

I saw it at Borders tonight on sale for $19.99

I got the cd at Best Buy for $15.99 and the DVD at Barnes & Noble for $11.47!

I've got to say, the sound quality is slammin'! I've heard all of these before and own the vinyls to most of them, but to hear them in digital sound quality makes me love it all over again. I'm thumpin' this shiznit in the car... my whole body is shakin'!

I do feel the need to point out that these songs are NOT remastered. The volume has been jacked up a little but that's it. Still, it beats the heck out of scratchy 20 year old vinyl! Now if we could just get the rest of the 12 inch singles out on CD I'd be one happy camper. A couple years back Duran Duran did something called the "Singles Box Set" that had all of their old 12 inch singles pressed to CD with the same track lists and the same cover art. Then all those CD's were packaged up in a groovy little black box. I would love to see something similar coming in a groovy little purple box...

I finally tracked them down at the walmart in town. Pump up the volume.

The TitT and Cream CD-(maxi-)singles have been in print until mere years ago and can be easily found in second hand stores. Those two alone are 13 minutes of cd-space that could have been used for music that isn't available on CD, like:

I bought this even though I have all the songs (Including the remixes) already. I like it ok. There are three small mistakes I noticed on the packaging. Three REALLY small mistakes. The dance mix of "Let's work" is called "dance remix, long version" not just "long version". Also, the long versions of "She's always in my hair" and "Raspberry beret" were originally called "New mix" not "12" version". I'm just being picky
