Never heard Hot Thing Extended... MJ was a brilliant singer/dancer...best of all time, however, that's all he was. Let's not compare him to Prince, best musician of all time, but rather, compare him to someone like Sammy Davis Jr (who I don't hear anyone calling a musical genius). | |

I picked up mine at The Exclusive Company (Milwaukee) for 17.99, I mainly got it for disc 2 and I'm loving it. I also got Diamonds dvd for 12.99 | |

I got the cd at Best Buy for $15.99 and the DVD at Barnes & Noble for $11.47!

I do feel the need to point out that these songs are NOT remastered. The volume has been jacked up a little but that's it. Still, it beats the heck out of scratchy 20 year old vinyl! Now if we could just get the rest of the 12 inch singles out on CD I'd be one happy camper. A couple years back Duran Duran did something called the "Singles Box Set" that had all of their old 12 inch singles pressed to CD with the same track lists and the same cover art. Then all those CD's were packaged up in a groovy little black box. I would love to see something similar coming in a groovy little purple box... | |

Those two alone are 13 minutes of cd-space that could have been used for music that isn't available on CD, like: Hello (Fresh Dance Mix) 6:12 Girl 7:35 Mountains (Extended Version) 9:49 Anotherloverholenyohead (Extended Version) 7:53 La La La He He Heee (Highly Explosive) 10:44 Get Off (Damn Near 10 Minutes) 9:28 Pink Cashmere (Remix) 6:18 Pope (Remix) 6:03 Etcetera.. I bought this even though I have all the songs (Including the remixes) already. I like it ok. There are three small mistakes I noticed on the packaging. Three REALLY small mistakes. The dance mix of "Let's work" is called "dance remix, long version" not just "long version". Also, the long versions of "She's always in my hair" and "Raspberry beret" were originally called "New mix" not "12" version". I'm just being picky Making love and music are the only things worth fighting for. |

[b]WTH..that figures, my PC went down last Fri, and I am just now getting everything back ( lost all my stuff)!! I login in 2day & find out this cd is now out..what's really sad is that I got my new PC @ best buy on Tues and didn't see the new cd there..dang comminies...lol
