A Child's Question about Prince.

Have you ever heard the story of the child that was watching television while a Prince video was playing?

The Child ask, Mom is that a boy or a girl.

the mom throught for a second and said, "that's a prince"

when u have ur masculine and feminine sides nicely balanced in urself - ur a prince or a princess depending on ur gender.

One of my nephews was real young when Prince came to my city back in 1997. I was surprised to see my sister at the concert and the show was all she could talk about for weeks afterwards. My nephew was running around talking about "Prince this" and "Prince that" or "I'm Prince, I'm Prince"

One day, out of the blue, my nephew told me that Prince made the devil's music. I asked him where he heard that from. He said from his day care teacher. Then he turned on his little radio and was listening to rap music. I said "Are you listening to the Lord's music?".

This reminded about when me and my niece saw prince on a tape a year ago at a friends house. She turned around and asked my riend was prince gay. He told her no and asked her why she asked. She told him it looked like something he would wear(she smart for her age) and turned to me and pointed at my hair and said we both had our hair the same way. also I knew you were trying to ber funy but another niece who is 16 now( she was real young), it took her the longet to not confuse prince and mj up and that used to piss my brother off. But during the mj she saidi don't know how i mixed them up they look nothing alike.

I can see why your son would make that mistake. That black outfit he was wearing in the "Bad" video looked very influenced by the black outfit Prince was wearing at the lake in the "When Doves Cry" video. Michael had also let his curl grow out longer like Prince's and was wearing more make-up like Prince.
