Does anyone know much about how Prince acted with his fellow schoolmates while in high school? I've read a few articles with interviews from people who said he wouldn't go to class because he stayed in the music room. I also read that he coached basketball for awhile for the youngsters, I believe, but quit his own team in frustration. I met a guy who was in high school during Prince's time, he did not go to Central, but to the other high school. He said he went to school with Prince's sister, "Tyka" and she was "out there", he mentioned her being on drugs back then. I bet its hard for people who knew him well "back in the day" to see him now, especially if he distanced himself from them. I was in Minneapolis on the day that Andre Cymone's mom's funeral was held, I didn't know it until I was leaving the city that Saturday, bought a paper and saw her in the obits, with them announcing her funeral was to be held that day. I didn't know Andre got remarried either.

lol,cool question.I wondered that sometimes 2...but im not totally clear on it cuz Ive heard many things...some that u have already listed.But I also heard that he was teased because of his size and called Princess and I also heard he was friendly and had many friends and was well known and he would act silly like most kids...who knows 4 sure

He was probably pretty geeky. Lets face it, he's almost a musical genius, and so in school, odds were he was indoors at lunchtime, practising his music. I bet he was very shy aswell, as he still is.
