Reason why it doesn't make #1:
A) it is too short
B) the second verse (rhyming seven, eleven, and heaven) is lame

Reasons why it is in top 3 of Prince's greatest songs:
A) the distorted guitar chunking away behind the verse,
B) the grungy guitar line buried beneath the chorus is remarkable,
C) the first verse is fantastic,
D) falsetto voice

I have listened to "I Wish U Heaven" a billion times and I still love it. It is timeless in its greatness.

part 2 and part 3 (Take This Beat) are fine stuff.

I never knew there was a part two and three till about a year ago. Gee how lame am I?! Hey gimme a break, I'm only 17 and I was born when Lovesexy came out. It is an awesome track though.


I still have to pick the 12" up so I can hear parts two and three.

Glam Slam is a way better pop / rock-track in my opinion (some call it cheesy, i consider it one of his best melodies, majestic, 'heavenly', and also very nicely arranged).

its a cool track , those lyrics can be seen as really silly I guess but they are genius , its him saying "i can happily take on board your viewpoint/opinion even though it disagrees with mine ,I'll still wish you all the happiness in the world" in a really simple and concise way , I think .
