I still love this album but the track that hit me from the first listen was LOVE

now I CANNOT GET ENOUGH of Lolita

DAMN.....what a dance song and OH SO FUNKY!!!! I can just picture this one live!!!!!

Better be singing lots of 3121 joints on this tour!!!

I am not sure if my fav's will change but I did listen to Satisfied this morning all of the way through without skipping it as usual and I really liked it actually!!
I guess it was the mood I was in..

i still really dig "love" but i'm also really appreciating "incense and candles" more and more with each listen. i know it's not a popular fave, but i think there's some interesting stuff going on in the song. go figure.

Well, before I heard the whole thing, I thought I would love
Satisfied. I don't really now that I've heard the whole thing.

I'm still loving Love and The Word but The Dance may be my new favorite. After having a chance to really hear it again i found many new layers that i didn't absorb the first few times. Prince can have so much going on in one song it can take awhile to appreciate everything he says and does. I usually don't read the lyrics until i've listened many times and see how he put the song together. This one leaves me speechless. The depth of emotion is amazing and truly makes it a magnificent masterpiece.

I used to skip Insest and Candles and Satisfied all the time - my kids thought they were boring. But now that I've finally sat through the whole songs, I really like them. I now make my kids listen to them, too - but they still think they're boring. They love Fury and 3121.

I used to hate Incense and Candles, Satisfied, Love, and The Dance. For about the entire 1st week I had the album I would skip them all but now I'm really starting to like The Dance, I can actually listen 2 Satisfied all the way through and I'm absolutely in love with Love, its one of my favs. Now the only one I cant stand is Incense and Candles. I dunno tho. I think its the fact that I'm just tired of hearing Tamar's ass on so many songs.

First liked love, now its the word!
