OK, everybody - let's listen to Prince's four US #1 albums today!

Bust 'em out, and play 'em all day at work (hey, I have my own office) to celebrate Prince's newfound chart success:

Purple Rain
Around The World In A Day
Batman
3121

Lovesexy, Graffiti Bridge, and Come were #1 in the UK (in addition to Batman) if you'd like to throw them in the mix too smile

Were any other albums #1 anywhere else in the world?

In Switzerland, "Emancipation", "Batman", "Lovesexy", and "Sign 'O' The Times" were #1...

Emancipation was #1? Wow! I wonder if that's because each 3-disc set counted as 3 sales, as happens elsewhere in the world.

Nice to see that SOTT made it to #1 somewhere also (although, again, I wonder if this is because it's a 2-disc set).

Probably. You can see that the album quickly went down in the charts:

1->7->23->25->34->...

Whereas "Batman", "Lovesexy", and "Sign 'O' The Times" all stayed in the top 10 for weeks.
