What are people wanting from Prince's Next album ,whenever it may appear?

Personally i just wanna like more tracks! , like the old days ..... i love all of DM, Contro, 1999, PR, ATWIAD, Parade , SOTT , Lovesexy (apart from Dance-On ) Batman ..... But then , Grafitti Bridge onwards i found my self likin most of GB ,Everything in D & P that wasnt Jughead or Willing & Able , Nearly all of Symbol & Gold Ex ..... but since then there has gradually been more & more tracks on albums that i just dont like (including Come b4 Gold Ex ) .

I'm a Prince fanatic but as much as i wanna love everything he does, i cant especially recently ,there is no way i could love TRC ,although some of it is great 1+1+1=3 ,She loves me 4 me are superb ..... i find Muse 2 & Digital Garden total crap personally (IMO) same with Musicology & Rave , they both have great Prince moments but ..... NOT ENOUGH

I would love a old fashioned 9 track album with 8 songs that i love

I want the affectious sounds of a soulful ballad with tons of screams and moans...one that would blow away "do me baby and international lover"

I want sexy, sensual -Prince!
I want the care free rock...exploration of Prince!

I want a Prince record with the feeling of refreshment and giving "us" that hair standing up on the back of neck kinda feeling!

I want a Prince record that displays hunger for the eternal needs of ones satisfaction!

GIVE ME SOUL/ROCK - GIVE ME PRINCE MUSIC!
Nothing watered down and preserved for the commercial market...
Give me the Prince of Era's 1980 - 1984!
The Prince that left everyone wondering!!!!!

More jazz or xperimental stuff like Xpectation, C-Note or NEWS would b great as far as i'm concerned. I wish this much more than a new "pop-funk" album.

I want it to sound as if Sign O the Times(diversity) and The Gold Expirience's (more diversity)kid and 1999(electro pop and monster grooves) and The Rainbow Children's(spiritual/political lyrics) kid had a baby with Purple Rain(unconventional commercial apeal). Is that too much to ask for?

I want to have at least one hot dance track on there. There's got to be a new song from him that would just be a killer in the clubs and rival anything he's done in the past. That's the only thing that I want from Prince the most.

I'm doing the exact same thing. Musicology is my benchmark for weak Prince material - Certainly not a bad album, but probably his weakest set of songs over all, most of which cower before even Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic.

If it's at least better than Musicology, the only Prince album to-date that has me skipping tracks like mad, then I'll be satisfied.

I try not to expect anything from anyone. But i'll tell You what i would hope Prince's next album would be. I love how focused Prince is in his music. With his sound and senses he usually gets right to the point. His extraordinary perception and precission can be used to unite people and provide insite.

When he sings about injustice some have been offended like the way he did it in TRC. But i really think that Prince just wants to bring awareness about certain subjects.


Musically Prince can come up with a million more funky jams. So i'd like to see him combining his enlightened ideas with his musical talents to bring people together. Prince can use his music to lend support to great causes like justice, equality, awareness and unity. And I hope that he does it in an extremely funky, slamming, jamming way.
